At his core, Dennis is an artist. He fell in love with the creative process at a very young age where he fondly remembers creating and experimenting with art with his mother. As an ambitious high school student, he attended trade school to further his knowledge in the arts. While attending Columbus College of Art and Design, he focused on illustration, design, advertising and photography. After graduating with a B.F.A. in advertising and design, he began his career with an ad agency in Columbus then moved on to work in Chicago, Illinois as a graphic designer. Highly successful in his endevors, he decided to form his own design firm, Verso Design Corporation. Specializing in a vast array of creative services, he found he had a natural attraction to and talent for photography. Offering his expertise to clients, he has a broad range of photography work focusing on real estate, portrait, special events and live music venues. To his credit, he was the recipient of the 54th Annual Kodak International Newspaper Snapshot Award as well as winning numerous Communicator Awards for his show posters in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. In addition, he will be hosting his own photography show in the summer of 2014 at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He currently lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and son. When not on a shooting assignment, as an avid outdoorsman, he can most often be found fishing, running various fitness races including local 5 and 10K, half marathons or training for his first marathon. He plans to be certified in scuba diving where he intends to take his photography skills one step further...underwater.
